I have spent the vast majority of my life living in Kentucky – I love this state, do not get me wrong, but every year whenever winter descends on us with all its snowy and icy horrors, I wonder why I am still here. I must have a memory problem because when summer arrives, I quickly forget about all those terrible moments that winter imposes on us. I absolutely loathe winter; this winter was so bad that I finally decided to move, especially after I saw the bond at brickell in Miami! This place is going to be such a hip, happening and radical place to live.
There are a lot of people that like to go on vacation and spend time by the pool or the water when they are looking to relax and do nothing. One of those places that people like to go is the panorama where they can sit and not worry about anything else in the world. It is a great thing when you are able to sit back and just think about nothing as the clouds roll by in the cool breeze. There is nothing like sitting back and watching the clouds go by you, where you are able to think about what shapes they are forming. It can be a game to make yourself relax, do you see a bird or a plane in the clouds, or is it a bigger animal? Whatever you see in the clouds, it can be fun and you will feel a lot better when you are able to relax and take the time to jog your memory.
One of my favorite past times was going to the beach with my friends in the summer and thinking about the all the different shapes there were. We would pick a cloud and tell each other what shape we see, then they would have to make another suggestion, to see whether or not I could tell the difference within the same cloud. I hope that I will get a chance to play this game with my kids when I take them to the beach this summer, we always have a great time together and like to play different games on the spot. I am hoping that they will like to play this game as it will challenge their imagination and make them think on a creative side. I have to get them to play before they think they are too old to play with me.
There are many places that we can call home but finding that place can be a difficult task. My family has moved all over the world and we have jumped from place to place to place over and over again. It hasn’t always been easy for any of us because, deep down, we all wanted a place that we could truly call a home. We wanted to be able to set roots down and be an actual family that doesn’t have to move constantly. I think, finally, we have found a place like that in the panorama. This place is going to be beautiful when it finally opens and we have been looking at it closely for a while now, ever since it was in construction and just an idea on paper my father was on top of it like a bloodhound rooting out a duck! He caught whiff of it early on and knew that this was going to be the home for our family.
It hasn’t been easy for any of us, especially my mother. She came from a place that was very family focused with a home of their own. She understood, from early on, that a home was necessary to bring a family closer together. Thus, the more we moved, the more she felt that our family was growing apart from each other. It was a terrible feeling for her and watching her experience those emotions, the terror and dread that we might grow so far apart from each other that we would no longer be a family – it was a very difficult thing for me to see on her face. Now that she sees a home on the horizon I can see the hope grow in her that we will no longer be so disparate from each other.
Detroit was once a beautiful progressive city where the hopes of the blue collar worker were laid upon. This was a city that was defined by its industry of building cars but as technology and economic climates change, so to must a city. Unfortunately, Detroit was unable to adapt nor cope with the loss of their automobile industry and thus have fallen far into disrepair. Much of the city is in dire need of help as their infrastructure begins to fall apart around them bit by bit. Hopefully michigan property management will be able to take a good look at what is happening around them and push for radical reforms to bring the city back to sanity once more. It has been, unfortunately, caught in the grips of politicians who do not want to release their power that they have over the city and have, with their bickering and inability to agree, sunk the economy of Detroit right into the gutters. This is a shameful blight for all of the United States.
