Losing a family member to cancer is just about as hard as it gets. I don’t necessarily mean the cancer, but just having someone you love here one day and gone the next. When my father passed away, it was a huge blow to our family even though we had been preparing for it because of his cancer prognosis. The good thing is that we got to spend a lot of time with him before he died. When he was talking to me, he asked me to look at Jewish bronze plaques in NJ because he definitely wanted one at his grave.
He is extremely traditional, so I knew that this is what he would have wanted anyway. When I found the website for a local company that could create a bronze plaque for his grave, I showed it to him. Continue reading
